It’s hard to believe that we have been in business for ten years now. It took a lot of hard work and sleepless nights, but we formed our business on what we knew best – investigations. My husband had already been doing investigations for 20 years and I was with him every step of the way, helping from the sidelines at the point when we decided to open our own business. We wanted to make enough to survive on, of course, but we wanted to do it in a way that actually helped people. We wanted to make a difference. That is when our business began. What started out as a little office in Jamaica Queens has now expanded to an office in Long Island City (so people in Manhattan can just take a quick trip over the Queensboro Bridge to reach us) and another in Glastonbury, Connecticut (so that our clients in Connecticut won’t have to travel to New York when they want to meet in person).
We have succeeded in a time that was truly the test of any business. The Covid-19 Pandemic had a catastrophic impact on our population but also on small (and large) businesses. Closing a business that was the sole income for many “mom and pop” operations for so long was a death sentence for many. Many of our competitors did not survive, leaving a large number of people in need of help with no one to turn to. But we have not only survived but flourished. We have made our way to the top with a lot of hard work and sleepless nights and survived in New York City – when you make it there you can make it anywhere. But there is no place we would rather work than the Big Apple (other than the Nutmeg State that is). It is the most challenging environment for a PI (let alone a female PI), and we thrive in this environment. We work in all areas without hesitation or issue such as East New York without batting an eye. When we then go into areas like Bergen Beach, Brooklyn or Meriden, Connecticut it is that much easier to do what we do. When you’ve survived the more challenging situations and areas, you can use that experience to achieve expert results in less challenging environments. That is how we have survived – by taking on cases that no one else will touch and succeeding with them. We have had cases that will take us to extremes and still came out with great success (and a few interesting stories at dinner time). Recently I had to follow someone suspected of cheating who lived in Bushwick in Brooklyn. He traveled by bus, then subway, then train, was met at the station in Brewster, New York by a woman, not his wife, and drove all the way to Danbury, Connecticut! Talk about a case of extremes! But I stuck with it and, after dodging a few perturbed geese by the pond, was eventually able to get “the money shot” by the Danbury Fair Mall parking lot for the client and sent them the photo so that she would be able to make an educated decision on how to proceed with her relationship and her life.
We are now growing by the day due to our proven track record and strong desire to help people find the truth in a time when it is not all that easy to find help. We receive many calls from people that feel as if they are not “important enough to take their situation seriously” or “no one has time to help them” when they need help the most. This is especially true when you feel that your spouse or partner is cheating on you – the person that means the most to you, that you thought would be your “partner for life.” This is a devastating feeling for anyone. You need answers now so you can make life-altering decisions, not whenever it is convenient for others to help. That is when we shine. We have been helping others in this situation through our business for ten years and counting, and I am confident we can help you as well.
If you began reading this Blog because it was about catching cheaters, I feel for you. This means that you are experiencing some severe doubts about the person that you trust (or trusted) most to be your “partner for life”. It’s not a great feeling, and it leads to doubts about what you presumed your life was up to at that point, as well as doubts about what you also presumed was going to be your future path. That is when you need to get the truth about what is actually happening. Hiring the right Private Investigator is an equally important decision. You should know who you are hiring before you take that first step, so I hope it was helpful for you to learn a little bit about us and why we are an excellent choice for what will ultimately lead you to some life-changing decisions down the road. We are not new to this field and plan to be around for a long time, thanks to an excellent support team behind the scenes as well as outstanding PI’s out in the field. So when you feel you are ready to begin, reach out to us, and we will do our best to help. Until that time, we will be here, toasting our 10th Anniversary at Investigreat and looking forward to the 25th Anniversary. But for tonight, it’s takeout from Whole Foods at home, which isn’t bad either – I could use a night off. I just hope I get another one before the 25th Anniversary.
